Like the inevitable character in a third of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, I fear I have lost “The Christmas Spirit.” In hopes of finding it, I will be watching a ridiculous number of Christmas movies on TV. Here is my story…
Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever (2014) Lifetime
-A reminder from me to you that THIS IS A REAL THING, AND IT IS A 2 HOUR MOVIE, not a 30 minute cartoon (like I assumed when I recorded it).
-Aubrey Plaza & Russell Peters
-10 minutes in, and I think there have been 2 to 3 story lines introduced (not totally sure), & I still have no idea what’s happening in any of them.
-Someone who is allergic to raspberries! I wonder if that will be important later…
-And 15 minutes in, I realize that this is absolutely NOT the Grumpy Cat movie, but instead “A Nanny for Christmas.” (Lifetime must have fucked up their schedule.) So…

As previously mentioned, 15 minutes in, and I still had no fucking clue what was happening. I had to stop watching.
The Grumpy Cat movie isn’t airing again in the next two weeks, so I may never know what it includes…
